Yesterday, both Boy Child and Girl Child participated in Fun Day on the Lake near us.
They had SO MUCH FUN!!
It was a fairly cool day at about 18degrees C, with wind now and again but the rain stayed in the clouds while we were there.
They were both soaked in a matter of minutes of the activities commencing. Girl Child only had to have one warming session to stave off hypothermia. Boy Child wore a wool sweater and made his mama proud ;) They club kept the hot chocolate and tea flowing for all the participants.
(: Now what you have been waiting for the pictures... :)
(I have put the same activities together, but they were in separate groups)
Boy Child at the front of the line waiting for his second go at crossing a line of capsized boats.
Girl Child leaping from boat to boat.
Setting out to gather floating balls.
Raft Building
assigning work to the big kids
Her group called their raft the Titanic,
and like it's namesake, she sank, here Girl Child is getting ready to abandon ship...
Boy Child's group was split between girl and boys.

Coming back in.
Reaction!
With Girl Child, the driver asked how fast he should take it,
Dad said open it up and let her fly... She did, quite literally, but we missed getting the picture...
I think Dad was a bit nervous watching...
Get ready!
Get set!
She's ready ( if you click on the picture you will see she is giving a thumbs up)!
Go!
Reaction and Contemplation...
Best Day Ever? Quite Possibly.
