I seem to make two of many of the projects that I do. Usually because I make gifts and then realize how attached my children are to the projects that I am doing...
So after many years and my LO's still talking fondly of A's Blanket, I went to my stash and pulled out the colors that would seem best to work. I know Peace Fleece is rough and scratchy until you have washed it about 6 to 8 times but I am hoping to have this around for a long time once complete and hopefully it will be soft enough to lay over sleeping grand-babies someday.
This pattern is OpArt by

Dominguez found at Knitty.com Fall 2008.
I am using size 7 Us (4.25mm) needles.
To start the project I am using 5 Clover Bamboo DPNs.
Switched to Knitpicks Harmony Circular needle; once there were too many stitches to handle on the DPN's comfortably.
The yarn I am using as is Peace Fleece DK in Father's Grey and Antarctica White.
**Update** 16 July 12**
I am now to the point where I must wait for my order with a longer cable to arrive.
There are so many stitches on the 24" that I have to retrieve some if I pause in my knitting they just want to pop off...
It looks like a jumbo hat at the moment. :)
