Last Day of Holiday

We spent most of our day yesterday out at a nearby park, with friends.

Quite a day we had. 

Mixed sun and clouds, but not so cold as to want to get inside 

after a quick jaunt around the lakes.

Finally a Sunny Day!

We finally got a sunny day on Sunday.

So happy to have sun on my skin!

very fun, a bit drenching.

We had a nice day out.

Little Booties

I have been wanting to make this pattern for a long while.  

I like the results, but I have to learn how to finish slick yarn. 

This lovely bamboo/silk keeps sliding out.

Chocolate Hazelnut Spread

Mmmm... I finally made Chocolate Hazelnut Spread.

It was labor intensive, I admit.

It doesn't taste much like Nutella(tm), but it is good.

And The Girl Child loved wearing her earmuffs inside while the food processor whirled away.
