Pumpkin Fun!

We of course had fun carving the pumpkins. 

These are considered Large pumpkins here, and we really sorted through the pallets of pumpkins to find good Jack 'O Lantern pumpkins.

Now the fun tomorrow!! Cooking them to make treats!

Halloween 2011

Happy Halloween!!

We have had a quiet Halloween this year.

It's been fun though.

Back in April...

These were taken on our last weekend in the States. 

We took in a lot that day. Pictures outside the Spaceneedle while we 

were waiting for Experience Music Project (EMP) to open with the Nirvana Exhibit.

The Science Fiction Museum and Hall of Fame had the Battle Star Galactica Exhibit.

The children had their first guitar lessons, and they learned 'Smells Like Teen Spirit.

We found Gasworks Park, afterward.

The children had fun running up and down the hills.

Then went to the Ballard Locks where there were four, yes 4 small salmon in the 

viewing area.  The art and watching the boats transit the locks

was interesting

Around the Lakes

We have some very nice lakes and canals near us that have great walking paths.  The children like to scooter, even if they have to carry their rides in a couple spots.  Last weekend we had temps in the high 20's (Celsius that is). Staying inside wasn't the cool option.

A little water color before bed

She Loves Water Colors, Loves, Loves, LOVES them.  They even help her relax before bed.

If you notice that paper towel in her hand... that really is another art project all together... I'll get a pic and post it a bit later.
